A sandwich bag would be more effective

Don't buy this unless you want to destroy your MinoHD. Used it for a couple of hours of light snorkeling on the first day and it seemed to work fine (no water penetration, ok video). On the second day, did the same thing and water seeped into the bag. Did everything the same way as the first day (sealed it, checked for damage), but for some reason water still leaked thru the case. So now our Mino is an expensive paper weight and we lost our vacation videos. If you are thinking of buying this thing: Don't. I would give it "no stars" if I could.

Gomadic Clean-n-Dry Waterproof Camera Case for the Pure Digital Flip Video MinoHD

I received my Gomadic case just before my trip to Hawaii. I took it on a few adventures in rivers and the ocean. The last time I used it while trying to video my kids surfing the lens cap popped off. Fortunately the Flip wasn't damaged. I returned it and it was promply replaced with a new one. I believe the threading on the lens cap was defective. The new one seals much better and hasn't come loose. It's an effective cheap solution, but I would highly recommend the tissue test before using to make sure there are no leaks.
