Although this case is a little bulky, it easily fits into another bag, hangs from your shoulder, or hangs from your belt. It is roomy on the inside with several pockets and soft insides to protect and store all your "stuff". Comes with a battery charger, mini cable (which is very handy), and a tiny tripod which is fine for the ultra because it is so lightweight. The outer case is hard, with a zipper, and is water resistant. So rain won't mess up your camera. And, if it falls overboard, it will float. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought Flip cameras for three family members this Christmas - it's a great example of a "disruptive technology" - and the main problem was the deliberate simplicity of Flip's offering. They clearly don't want to bombard the buyer with accessories and choices so ... they don't. You can use the neat little thing right out of the box and simplification fits right into their marketing.However, most of us do need some extra stuff - not a lot of junk, but just a few crucial items. Most of them are in the Matrex kit. Hard shell case (nicely done - small with an amazing carrying capacity, soft shell belt case, batteries, battery chargers, USB cable and the cool little flexible tripod. The Gorilla Tripod (which is more or less the same thing - stabilizes the camera just about anywhere - from tabletop to treebranch) costs about as much alone as the entire Matrex collection.Delivery was fast and my one problem was solved quickly and extremely pleasantly by their support staff.There was only one item I wished they had included - HDMI connection cables so you could see the Flip video on your HD TV. I think that's the second thing everyone wants to do with a Flip camera (after posting up online) and it would be great to have it off the top. I'm still waiting for the cables to arrive so I can check it out.So: great price, nice quality, good support.

The case is usable as it is and otherwise very good - BUT the flap which is supposed to be OVER the zipper and which velcros to the outside to hold the case closed if the zipper is down, is on the OUTSIDE of the zipper. Hence it (the flap)is useless. Company was very nice about returns and customer service, but the picture of the case is not in fact how the case is assembled.
