For the sometimes cinematographer this tripod gets the job done. The price is right and it weighs close to nothing. I recently took this to Japan with me and I was able to stick it in a suitcase. Granted it does not feel and work as smoothly as a professional tripod but you get what you pay for. This is great for a flip and a mid-sized camera, anything of substantial weight may require more than usual tightening.

The craftmanship of this product is crap. The legs fall apart or off, but what do you expect for the price.
